PELHAM, NY. Pelham Art Center announces the opening of Growth & Decay, on display from April 24-May 11, 2025. Curated by Pelham Art Center’s Teen Artist Council, the group’s third annual pop-up exhibition showcases the work of over 25 local artists of all ages and disciplines.
This year’s Teen Artist Council exhibition explores the themes of the interconnectedness of life and death and distinction between the two stages.
The cycles of nature. Life, death, and the stages in between.
Featured artwork was chosen from an open call to artists of all ages. Participating artists include:

An opening reception will take place on Thursday, April 24 from 6-8pm. The exhibition will remain on display during Pelham Art Center’s regular hours through Sunday, May 11. As always, these events are free of charge and open to the public.
The Teen Artist Council, curators of Growth & Decay, is a group run by the Pelham Art Center to engage teens interested in art with leadership and curatorial opportunities. The group meets twice a month, and participants are accepted on a rolling basis throughout the year. Other initiatives include selecting candidates to speak on a Careers in the Arts panel series, and leading select public programs.
