Residents are reminded that Village Hall is closed tomorrow, Friday, April 18. Refuse and recycling collection will take place as regularly scheduled. This weekend is one of many celebrations.
We would like to highlight the centennial birthday of Pelham Manor resident Hiltrud A. Scott. On Sunday, April 20, 2025, she will be turning 100 years of age! Mrs. Scott was born in Plauen, Germany, and served as a medical technician in hematology in Germany, at St. Vincent’s Hospital in Manhattan, and Nyack Hospital in Nyack, NY. She has been residing in Pelham Manor since 2011, along with many of her family members. Mayor Jennifer Lapey happily recognized this milestone with a proclamation, and was joined by her colleagues to present it to Mrs. Scott’s son-in-law, Jeff Marcks, at the Board of Trustees meeting earlier this week (above). We wish her all the best on this monumental birthday.
