From Burnout to Breakthrough!

The Junior League of Pelham is excited to host From Burnout to Breakthrough, an event of panelists and vendors designed to support those considering a career change or pivot. Our aim is to provide the community with concrete career advice, resources, and support during a period of transition, particularly for women feeling the weight of burnout in their current roles. The event will take place at the Pelham Art Center on Wednesday, March 12, from 7-9pm and is free and open to the public.

During these uncertain and challenging times, people at all stages of their careers are asking profound questions about the work they do and the impact it has on both the world and their personal lives. While career change has become a normalized part of an adult’s life, that doesn’t make it any easier. Changes can be both fear-inducing and energizing. While financial instability, fear of failure, and imposter syndrome are very real challenges in the career change process, it is also an opportunity for new experiences, increased flexibility, personal growth, and an increased sense of fulfillment.

Our event is designed to bridge that gap by connecting attendees with a community of experts and like-minded people. The panel of experienced local career changers and businesswomen will cover a wide range of topics, including embracing and navigating change, learning from failure and setbacks, managing the financial challenges of career transitions, and discovering and pursuing your passion. In addition to a panel of experienced local career changers, vendors specializing in career development will be available for inquiries and networking. Attendees can also take advantage of a photographer who will be on-site offering professional headshots.

We believe that building relationships is key to both personal and professional growth, and this event offers an invaluable opportunity for attendees to connect with experts who can guide them on their career journey.

Please join us at From Burnout to Breakthrough as we work together to inspire career growth and personal transformation. For registration, please sign up at bit.ly/jlpbreakthrough*. In the Junior League’s continued effort to support our wider community, we also ask participants to consider bringing gently used work attire to donate to Career Closet, a Westchester County organization that supports women entering the workforce with professional attire.

Challenges can arise at any stage of life, but with the right support and resources, individuals can not only overcome them, but emerge stronger and more fulfilled. Let’s take this opportunity to learn, grow, and support one another in our career journeys!
