Editor’s note: The Pelham Union Free School District, the Town of Pelham and the Village of Pelham Manor also issued notices about this community planning workshop. This is the version from the school district. The Pelham Examiner publishes notices in the form received as a service to the community.

Over the past few months, the District in collaboration with the Town of Pelham, Village of Pelham, Village of Pelham Manor, City of Mt. Vernon and Westchester County has been working with the New York Metropolitan Transportation Council (NYMTC) on ideas to improve pedestrian and traffic safety in the vicinity of the Glover Field Complex.

Following a comprehensive review of this area, NYMTC will hold a Community Planning Workshop to present possible improvements and hear directly from the community about your ideas to improve safety along Colonial Avenue and Sandford Boulevard. This virtual event will be held at 7pm on Thursday, January 30. Please register in advance.

Thank you in advance for joining us and continuing your advocacy to improve safety in our community!
