Pelham Civics to hold blood drive Saturday at Pelham Funeral Home

Editor’s note: This press release was provided by the Pelham Civic Association. The Pelham Examiner publishes press releases in the form received as a service to the community.

WE NEED YOUR BLOOD.

As explained by Tim Case, President of the Pelham Civics, “Every two seconds, someone in the U.S. needs blood. Blood is essential to help patients survive surgeries, cancer treatment, chronic illnesses, and traumatic injuries. This lifesaving care starts with one person making a generous donation. The need for blood is constant.”

On Saturday June 1 the Pelham Civic Association will be sponsoring a Blood Drive from 12 to 6pm with the help and cooperation of fellow Pelham Civic member Clive Anderson, owner of  the Pelham Funeral Home. See the attached flyer for information and how to register!

Founded in 1939, The Pelham Civic Association is one of Westchester County’s most active volunteer, charitable organizations – dedicated to assisting the youth/students, elderly, mentally & physically challenged and financially needy. For more information about the Civics, visit pelhamcivics.org.
